About Professional Visit Pass
The Professional Visit Pass (PVP) is a short-term work pass issued by the Immigration Department of Malaysia that allows foreign professionals employed by an overseas company to enter Malaysia to provide specialised services or undertake specific assignments.
The pass is typically granted to individuals with relevant professional qualifications or specialised skills. It is commonly used for technical support, installation works, training, consultancy, or project-based engagements. The applicant remains employed by the foreign employer and is not directly employed by a Malaysian company.
Note: PVP holders are NOT ENTITLED to apply for a Dependant Pass
