The essential first step for any company looking to hire foreign talent in Malaysia.

What is ESD?

The Expatriate Services Division (ESD) is a dedicated unit under the Immigration Department of Malaysia that facilitates and regulates the employment of expatriates by locally registered companies.

Companies are required to register with ESD prior to submitting applications for expatriate-related passes, including the Employment Pass, Professional Visit Pass, Dependent Pass, Long-Term Social Visit Pass and Social Visit (Temporary Employment) – Foreign Maid Pass.
